Challenge
Reliance on Microsoft’s native capabilities to restore data, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, meant that there was no way to recover data older than 90 days, which exposed CityU to data loss from accidental deletion and/or ransomware. Their backup providers did not have a cloud native solution for protecting Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data. The IT team wants to reduce the total cost of ownership to buy and manage hardware, and provide a cloud-native data protection solution.
Solution
